The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is made up of the Section Volunteers, Assistants and Young Leaders, plus elected members who hold specific roles (eg: Chair, Treasurer, Group Lead Volunteer…). The Board of Trustees acts collectively as charity trustees to ensure the Group runs in accordance with the Scout Association’s “Policy, Organisation and Rules”, manage and protect the Group’s finances and property, and to ensure the Group has sufficient resources to deliver Scouting in the local area.
